Assistance Animals Statement
KBL Property Solutions complies fully with all federal and state Fair Housing laws regarding assistance animals. Verified service animals and emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered pets and are not subject to pet fees, breed restrictions, or standard pet rules. Tenants requesting to keep an assistance animal must submit a written reasonable accommodation request and, when applicable, provide documentation from a licensed healthcare provider supporting the disability-related need for the animal.
Service animals in training are not considered fully qualified service animals under federal law and may be treated as pets for the purpose of housing policies, including pet fees and restrictions, unless and until the animal is trained to perform specific tasks directly related to a disability. Animals that do not meet the legal definition of a trained service animal, or for which no valid documentation is provided, will be subject to all applicable pet policies, fees, and limitations.
Tenants are responsible for the behavior, health, cleanliness, and control of all animals on the property at all times. Landlord reserves the right to require removal of any animal that causes damage, disturbs other tenants, or poses a safety or health risk.
